Vietnamese hotels claim Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards

Three Vietnamese hotels have been awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards among the top 25 hotels in the world.

Notably, Hanoi La Siesta ranked second in the list, only behind Viroth’s Hotel in Siem Riep, Cambodia.

Elsewhere, La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa claimed 12th place, while JM Marvel Hotel & Spa came in at 16th in the list.

The winners of the award are calculated based on the overall quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions, and ratings collected by Tripadvisor during 2019, prior to the impact of the global pandemic.

“This has been a tough year for our industry, but the global desire to go and explore, whether the destination is an hour away or across the world, remains strong”, states Lindsay Nelson, chief experience and brand officer at Tripadvisor.

“We’re passionate about guiding travelers to the good out there, especially the good found within these recognised hotels, restaurants, and airlines that rise to the occasion in offering the best of the best,” she added.

Last year, Tripadvisor selected Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa among its list of the best hotels in the world, placing it at number 10.
