Youth Union of Department of Industry and Trade rescues more than 3 tons of dragon fruit for farmers in Long An

Ministry of Industry and Trade and Long An Department of Industry and Trade held a conference of Departments of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities, and Ho Chi Minh City to find solutions to consume dragon fruits in Long An province.

Accordingly, due to the impact of the acute respiratory infection caused by nCoV, limited traffic hindered trading activities, China also stopped buying Long An dragon fruits, the unsold inventory of Long An dragon fruit from the end of January to the end of February 2020 is about 30,000 tons... After this conference, Youth Union of Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade received orders of more than 3 tons of dragon fruits. Within more than 24 hours of selling non-profit dragon fruit, with the price of 90,000 VND / carton (about 8kg), as of the afternoon of 7 Feb, 3.2 tons of dragon fruit was successfully rescued by Youth Union of Industry and Trade Department. This is a humane deed with encouraging meaning from Binh Duong youth to share the difficulties with Long An farmers.
