1,000 athletes take part in Cau mountain traditional cross-country run
Dau Tieng district has just held the Cau mountain traditional cross-country run 2018 in association with launching the 18th Olympic Run Day for public health 2018, with the participation of 1,000 athletes.
After the launching ceremony, more than 600 officials, civil servants and pupils took part in the Olympic Day Run for public healthcare. Nearly 700 athletes from 29 teams from high schools, secondary schools, mass organizations…in the district…competed in the professional event around Dau Tieng township. For the amateur event, participants vied in the men and women’s 5km and 3km events while climbing additional 650 steps to Cau mountain. As a result, the organizers awarded first, second, third and consolidation prizes to outstanding athletes in each competition event.
