1,000 gifts donated to needy people

On May 22, provincial Red Cross Society held a “humanitarian market” program delivering necessities to the local needy people.

The model is launched by the Central Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society in response to the Humanitarian Month 2020.

On this occasion, provincial Red Cross Society offered 1,000 gifts worth VND100,000 each, comprising of rice and some other necessities, to needy people, due to Covid-19 pandemic. It is known that the Central Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society supported VND50million for the province to implement the program.

*A “sharing love” program took place at the People’s Committee of Lai Hung commune in Bau Bang district on the morning of the same day.

Accordingly, a charity group in the commune visited, encouraged and offered gifts worth VND500,000 each, including rice, instant noodles and other necessities, to 30 local poor households.
