107 cases involved domestic Covid-19 outbreaks test negative for the virus once

Dr. Nguyen Hong Chuong, Director of provincial Department of Health said that provincial health sector, on May 8, monitored additional  12 high-risk cases related to the K Kospital’s Tan Trieu facility and the Covid-19 patient 2998 in Lao Cai.

As of now, the local health sector has investigated, supervised 107 cases related to the outbreaks of Covid-19 across the country. They all tested negative for the virus for the first time. Among 12 cases under investigation within a day, there were 6 cases related to the K Hospital’s Tan Trieu facility. They reside in Binh My commune’s Binh Co hamlet in North Tan Uyen district; Phu Hoa ward’s quarter 9 in Thu Dau Mot city; Tan Binh ward’s Tan Phuoc, Tan Thang quarters, Binh An ward’s Noi Hoa quarter in Di An city.

The remaining cases related to the Covid-19 patient 2998 in Lao Cai reside in Hiep Thanh ward’s quarter 2 in Thu Dau Mot City and Di An city’s Tan Binh, Di An wards. They were present in places such as Pao Hotel on April 30, Fanxipan cable car from April 24 to May 2 where the Covid-19 patient 2998 travelled to. All of these cases have been quarantined concentratively.
