200 doctors, health workers of Becamex Binh Duong Hospital give blood

On June 15, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Becamex Binh Duong Hospital and HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center to organize a program receiving voluntary blood for the community’s health.

At the reception, 200 doctors, health workers at the hospital registered to participate in voluntary blood donation. As a result, the organizers received 180 units of blood, equivalent to 63,000milliters of blood. The program was carried out in accordance with the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health.

It is known that the amount of blood received has decreased significantly because many blood donation schedules in the province have been postponed, due to Covid-19 pandemic. During this difficult period, the hospital’s doctors and health workers volunteered to give their blood, contributing to curing patients in need of blood.
