200 “Nguyen Van Luong” scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

On the afternoon of December 6, Phu Giao district’s Study Promotion Association held a ceremony to award “Nguyen Van Luong” scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils in the 2016-2017 academic year.

At the ceremony, the organizers awarded 200 scholarships worth VND1million each, funded by Binh Duong Production-Export Import One-Member Co.Ltd., to 200 poor-but-excellent pupils at primary, second and high schools in the district.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, the district had a total of more than 21,000 pupils, comprising of around 1,000 ones with difficult circumstances. The company’s donation contributed to helping the local needy pupils surmount difficulties and further pursue their learning.
