Activities of trade unions at all levels get more practical with in-depth development

Early July 10, the Executive Board of the 10^th provincial Labor Union for the 2018-2023 tenure held its 7^th session with focus on reviewing activities in the first half of 2020, define orientations for the rest of the year.

Over the past six months, provincial Labor Union instructed trade unions at all levels in the province to coordinate with employers to be proactive to effectively propagandize and implement solutions for Covid-19 prevention and control. Provincial trade unions at all levels continued being a bridge between employers and laborers from signing collective labor deals, improving the quality of meals to making conciliation when distributes occur; supported laborers without jobs, due to Covid-19 pandemic with the subsidy level of VND500,000 per person. As many as 1,721 laborers enjoyed the support. Provincial trade unions at all levels also mobilized proprietors to carry out rent fee reduction and exemption of nearly VND5.5billion for laborers; disbursed nearly VND2billion from the Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor for 379 cases…

The session also elected additional 2 individuals into the Executive Board of the 10^th provincial Labor Union for the 2018-2023 tenure; awarded the certificate of merit of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to Ninh Xuan Hien, Chairman of Di An city’s Labor Union for his excellent performance in the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” for the 2016-2020 period.
