Bach Dang wins first prize at Bien Hoa boat racing tournament

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2), Bien Hoa city and Dong Nai province have just kicked off the 2018 open Bien Hoa traditional boat racing tournament.
This year’s race absorbed 6 teams, including 2 from Tan Uyen town’s Bach Dang commune and Thanh Phuoc ward. They were divided into 2 groups to compete over a 1,000-m distance.
Finally, Bach Dang commune finished first while Thanh Phuoc took fourth position at the race. To achieve the result, they made efforts in training before attending the race. This was also a chance for Tan Uyen town to preserve the local traditional boat racing event.
