Bau Bang’s agricultural production value gains over VND2trillion

Bau Bang district’s agricultural production value in 2020 was more than VND2.07trillion, up 3.2% compared to that of 2019. The whole district is now home to 299 farms, including 13 on cultivation, 286 on animal husbandry and there are 13 with VietGAP certificate.

The district’s cultivation reached stable development. The district also monitored and implemented training courses on prevention of pestilent insects in crop plants. In addition, the district’s animal husbandry remained stable with prevention of diseases in poultry and cattle promoted. The district also paid attention to inspecting the transportation, trade of animals and their products at markets, thereby detecting and handling 37 cases with total fine of nearly VND200million.
