Binh Duong wins 1 gold, 1 silver at 2017 national chess champs

Chess players of Binh Duong excellently grasped 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal in the “blitz” chess event at the ongoing 2017 National Chess Championships in Ha Noi.

Particularly, Le Tuan Minh of Binh Duong won the silver medal with 8.5 scores after 11 rounds. Gold and bronze medals went to Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son of Can Tho with 9.5 scores and Dang Hoang Son of HCM city with 9 scores, respectively,

In the women’s “blitz” chess event, bronze medal belonged to Hoang Thi Nhu Y of Binh Duong. Pham Thi Bich Ngoc of HCM city and Pham Le Thao Nguyen of Can Tho pocketed gold and silver medals, respectively.

With the above achievements, Minh and Y were granted the “national Master” title.
