Binh Duong wins gold medal at natiional karatedo champs

The 29^th National Karatedo Championships has just concluded in the north province of Ninh Binh.

Ngo Huyen Anh wins a gold medal at the tournment

At the tournament, Binh Duong’s delegation with 12 athleles, including 3 female ones, excellently grasped 3 gold medals and 5 bronze medals in combat events. Particularly, 3 gold medals went to Nguyen Thanh Duy in the men’s 62-kg weight category, Vo Trung Quan in the men’s 78-kg weight category and Ngo Huyen Anh Thu in the women’s 50-kg weight category. This is also the first time Binh Duong has had a female athlete winning the gold medal at the national Karatedo tournament.

This year’s tournament absorbed nearly 300 athletes from 34 delegations nationwide. They competed in events: performance and combat for both men and women.
