Dau Tieng district’s activities of growing and breeding ornamental creatures reached vigorous development with a total area of 11 hectares over the past time.

Noticeably, Mai Quoc orchid farm in Minh Hoa commune’s Hoa Loc hamlet is around 6.5 hectares. The model of various mushrooms and their embryos accounts for 2 hectares of the local area for growing and breeding ornamental creatures. In addition, some families have also effectively developed a model on breeding ornamental fish, mainly in Thanh Tuyen commune with 0.5 hectares and Thanh An commune with 0.9 hectares.

The district has so far set up ornamental creature associations with experienced artisans. The value of agricultural production from hi-tech based ornamental creature development has reached VND900million per hectare per year.
