Dau Tieng’s agricultural area for hi-tech application on sharp increase

Since early this year, Dau Tieng district has continued instructing functional sectors to promote hi-tech agricultural models while disseminating solutions on restructuring of agriculture towards added value increase and sustainable development.

Over the past nine months, the district’s agricultural sector continued reaching stable growth. The district’s area for hi-tech cultivation was around 9 hectares, up 26% compared to the same period of 2018. The district also had a total of around 14 hectares of hi-tech animal husbandry, up 12% against the same period of 2018, with closed projects on pig and chicken breeding.

The whole district is now home to 19 cooperatives, including 3 established in 2019. There are also 17 cooperative groups with 148 members with total chartered capital of more than VND21.6billion…

During the period, the average income of the local people was more than VND56million, up more than VND5.4million compared to late 2018.
