Dau Tieng well realizes policies for social policy beneficiaries

Early December 8, Dau Tieng district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a conference to sum up its activities in 2017.

In 2017, the sector dealt with 637 various documents for social policy beneficiaries; built and handed over 38 gratitude, great unity, charity houses to social policy beneficiaries…with a total expense of VND56.5billion. The sector also mobilized organizations and individuals to present more than 4,500 gifts worth more than VND1.5billion to policy beneficiaries, poor households and Agent Orange victims; coordinated with relevant units to organize 10 vocational training classes for 288 rural laborers; held dialogues between leaders of the district, businesses, Trade Union officials and laborers; well realized programs on child protection and care; granted health insurance cards to policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, poor people, children…

For 2018’s orientations, the sector will continue well realizing policies for laborers; strengthen vocational consultancy and orientation for rural laborers; focus on rechecking the number of poor households under the province’s new poverty line; promote “paying debt of gratitude” movements to improve revolutionary contributors’ spiritual and material lives…
