Farmers voluntarily take part in ensuring traffic safety

*2019-2020 academic year contest on traffic safety opens

Provincial Farmers ‘Association, on November 28, coordinated with provincial Traffic Safety Committee to organize a conference to review the five-year implementation of the joint program “Farmers take part in ensuring traffic safety” for the period of 2013-2018.

Over the past five years, provincial Farmers ‘Associations at all levels worked with provincial Traffic Safety Committee to organize nearly 19,000 propaganda shows, 21 training courses and 14 contests on traffic safety. They also developed pilot models on traffic safety…Many households were also proactive to get involved in making urban rejuvenation, roads in quarters, hamlets…

On this occasion, provincial Farmers ‘Association awarded the certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 20 individuals with excellent achievements in ensuring traffic safety for the period of 2013-2018. The association also signed a joint program with provincial Traffic Safety Committee for the period of 2019-2023.

*The same day, provincial Department of Education and Training in collaboration with provincial Traffic Safety Committee held a competition on traffic safety for pupils in the 2019-2020 academic year.

The competition absorbed 52 teams with nearly 1,000 pupils, learners from secondary, high schools, continuing education centers…It focused on knowledge relating to the Law on Road Traffic, behavior culture when driving…

Finally, the organizing board of the competition awarded first, second and third prizes together with other prizes to outstanding collectives and individuals.
