Five “great unity” houses donated to poor households

Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has just handed over 5 “great unity” houses to the local poor households.

Particularly, the five houses were given for Nguyen Thi Lia, born in 1934, in Lai Thieu ward’s Dong Tu quarter; Nguyen Tien Hung, born in 1957, in Binh Nham ward’s Binh Duc quarter; Nguyen Ngoc Trieng, born in 1969, in Binh Nham ward’s Binh Thuan quarter; Khuu Thi Kim Chi, born in 1964, in Hung Dinh ward’s Hung Tho quarter; Nguyen Van Nhon, born in 1951, in Hung Dinh ward’s Hung Phuoc quarter with a total construction cost of VND573million. The town’s Steering Board of the Fund for the Poor supported VND80million for each house. The remaining cost came from these families.

These families were also presented significant gifts from leaders of provincial FFC, the town’s FFC and the above wards.
