“Gathering in Tet holiday” program 2020 held

On the evening of January 13, provincial Labor Union held the “Tet sum vay” (Gathering in Tet holiday) program 2020 with the theme of “Spring, Party celebration”.

Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee offers 11,150 gifts to needy workers

The event was attended by Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Accordingly, provincial Labor Union offered 11,150 Tet gifts worth nearly VND5.6billion, extracted from the local State budget, to needy workers who are not able to return home for Tet. Under the “Sentimental bus” program, provincial Labor Union donated 10 saving books to laborers, including 5 with extremely difficult circumstances and 5 saving books to those who won prizes in the lucky draw program.

On this occasion, provincial Labor Union also set up a fund for needy workers with VND20billion; offered 10 support packages from VND4million to VND10million each to workers with fatal illness.
