Gifts donated to needy families in Thuan An

Early November 16, Hung Dinh ward’s Hung Phuoc quarter in Thuan An town held the great national unity festival 2019 on the occasion of the 89th founding anniversary of Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930-November 18, 2019). The event was attended by Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

At the festival, delegates together with numerous people reviewed the tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Hung Phuoc quarter is now home to 445 households. Over the past year, the local people actively helped each other in economic development, improving their lives. On Tet and great holidays, the quarter also mobilized organizations, individuals to offer 450 gifts worth VND135million to poor households. The local mass organizations helped 270 members get more than VND4.2billion in loan for economic development. In 2019, there were 442 households recognized as cultural ones or 99% of total, all 18 lodging facilities winning the “cultural” title…The local people also well realized regulations on civilized lifestyle construction, environmental protection, traffic safety…

Speaking at the festival, Mr.Dung wanted that the local people will further make solidarity in building up a stable life, joining hands in civilized urban and new-style rural construction…On this occasion, the ward’s People’s Committee honored 17 cultural families for three consecutive years. Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), the town’s FFC and the ward’s Steering Board of the “All people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle” campaign donated 30 gifts to the local poor households.
