Giving strength to young workers

Many workers have still faced difficulties, due to the impacts from Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, provincial Youth Unions and associations at all levels have attached special importance to supporting these workers.

Provincial Support Center for Young Workers has just organized a propaganda program on Covid-19 prevention for young workers at a lodging facility in Tan Uyen town’s Tan Phuoc Khanh ward. At the event, the center disseminated basic knowledge on Covid-19 prevention among young workers. They also got consultancy on healthcare and were guided how to install and use the contact-tracing Bluezone app. Through the program, the center grasped young workers ‘difficulties for timely support.

Di An city’s Youth Union Standing Committee has also coordinated with Honda Vietnam Co. and An An Bach Vietnam One-Member Co.Ltd. to organize a program supporting laborers with difficult circumstances. The program took place with many practical activities, including sharing knowledge about Covid-19 prevention, offering 1,000 gifts to people and lottery ticket vendors with difficult circumstances…The program brought a lot of positive living values, created a pervasion on joy and compassion in the community.

Whilst, Tan An ward’s Organizing Board of the Project on uniting, gathering young workers in TDM city has just visited and donated 25 gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances, joining hands with the community to offer help to them.

Under the “Pink vacation” campaign, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union has implemented a journey connecting love in order to take care of the offspring of young workers with difficult circumstances at Kim Xuyen lodging facility in Dat Cuoc commune. During the journey, the Youth Union of the district’s Agencies Bloc teamed up with Dat Cuoc commune’s Youth Union to organize folk games with attractive prizes for children at the lodging facility. On this occasion, the organizing board also awarded 20 scholarships worth VND6million together confectionary to children. The annual activity aimed to take care of the offspring of workers at the local lodging facilities.

With the motto of “Accompanying young workers”, provincial Youth Union has instructed its branches to focus on transforming movements by taking care of young workers with practical activities and these activities will be regularly done in the coming time.
