“Great unity” house handed over to a poor farmer

Phu Giao district’s Farmers’ Association has just organized a ceremony to hand over a “great unity” house to Pham Thi Lan, a poor member in An Thai commune’s Phu Thinh 1 hamlet.

The 50-squ.m house has a total construction cost of VND100million, including VND80million from provincial Fund for the Poor and the remainder from her family. On this occasion, the local government will give gifts for the family

It is known that the district’s Farmers’ Association last year upgraded 3 houses for needy farmers with a total cost of VND35million and teamed up with sectors, mass organizations to build 18 houses worth more than VND1.26billion for the poor.
