Industrial production value up 3.74%

North Tan Uyen district’s industrial production value in Q1, 2020 was estimated at VND535billion, up 3,74% compared to the same period last year or 22.07% of the year’s plan.

The proportion of cultivation accounted for 80.33% of the local agricultural structure. Noticeably, the district’s area for growing fruit trees amounted to 2.467 hectares while the local area for rice was 561 hectares. Most crop plants in the district reached good development, due to supply of water for irrigation ensured.

The district has coordinated with units, localities to boost prevention of diseases in crop plants and animals. The district now has a total of 1,921 buffaloes, 42,226 pigs and 1.675 various fowls.
