Linkage for tourism development in southeastern region

A seminar on promoting tourism product linkages in the southeastern region under the theme of “Linkage-Development-Sustainability” was held in Tay Ninh province on the afternoon of June 28.

Travel companies in HCM city sign cooperative agreements on developing products to stimulate tourism demand with units supplying tourism services in Binh Duong province

The seminar was attended by Vu Duc Dam, Deputy PM; representatives of central sectors, ministries; leaders of 6 southeastern provinces and cities (HCM city, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau). For Binh Duong, there were Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee; Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The event marked new development in cooperation between leaders of provinces, cities, State agencies in tourism management, travel associations and companies in the entire region, thereby contributing to recovering tourism and making effective contributions to the socio-economic development of the region in particular and of the whole country in general.

At the event, leaders of localities in the region discussed, signed a linkage agreement on tourism development in the southeastern region for the 2020-2025 period; approved a joint plan on tourism development linkage in the southeastern region between 2020 and 2021.

In the framework of the event, a seminar on popularizing new tourism products from localities in the region also took place on the morning of the same day. Accordingly, three new regional tourism product linkages, namely “HCM city-Tay Ninh-Binh Duong” under the theme of “Green of new day”, “Conquering Southeastern peak”; “HCM city-Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc” under the theme of “Love for Eastern Red Earth”; “HCM city-Dong Nai-Ba Ria-Vung Tau” under the theme of “Green nature, harmony of sea” were launched…

At the event, travel companies in HMC city and localities in the southeastern region also inked cooperation agreements on developing tourism programs in the region.
