Local health sector must administer at least 100,000 vaccine doses per day

That was the direction of provincial Party Standing Committee at a meeting on the local Covid-19 prevention and control on the morning of August 3.

Accordingly, the health sector, localities and units will continue urgently implementing Covid-19 vaccinations in according to the allocated target, ensuring the completion of the vaccination plan this week. Provincial Party  Standing Committee emphasized that the vaccination target must reach at least 100,000 doses/day. The health sector must continue directing, inspecting and fully arranging vaccination forces while making socialization for businesses, units and private medical facilities that are eligible for vaccination. The local socio-political organizations at all levels need to mobilize forces at their units to support Covid-19 vaccinations.

Along with speeding up the progress of vaccination, the health sector will also urgently procure medical equipment for collection and treatment of Covid-19 patients on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Regarding social policy settlement, provincial Party Standing Committee will direct units and localities to complete the disbursement of support for those affected by Covid-19 pandemic under the Government’s Resolution 68/NQ-CP and some other policies of the province by the end of August 10.

Especially at the meeting, provincial Party Standing Committee reached unanimity on supporting water, power and lodging charges for people with difficult circumstances; agreed to provide financial support to buy food and foodstuffs for workers staying in Binh Duong affected by Covid-19 pandemic at the proposal of provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC). In order to ensure the progress of support work, provincial FFC has advanced VND 10 billion from provincial Relief Fund to support workers who lost their jobs or stopped working, due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic. Provincial FFC has also coordinated with provincial Red Cross Society, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Steering Committees for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control,  socio-political organizations at all levels to implement support programs for workers at lodging facilities and residential areas in accordance with the proposed list…

Provincial Labor Union in collaboration with provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has established groups connecting between enterprises and workers to promptly deal with procedures relating supporting policies for workers.
