Local IPs absorb additional US$103.3million in FDI capital

In August 2020, province-based industrial parks (IPs) absorbed additional US$103.3million in FDI capital. Particularly, there were 17 new FDI projects totaling US$71.2million and 8 extra-ones with US$32.1million.

Thus, since early this year, they have attracted US$786.6million in FDI capital or 57.92% of the year’s plan. So far, they have had a total of valid 2,914 investment projects, including 2,262 FDI projects with total registered capital of US$23.6billion and 652 domestic ones with total registered capital of more than VND71.98trillion.
