Local retail revenue in January up 0.7%

The province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services in January 2018 was estimated at more than VND13.81trillion, up 0.7% compared to the previous month.
Of these, the domestic investment sector achieved more than VND13trillion while the foreign investment sector reached VND726.6billion.
Although the province’s purchasing power increased strongly during the period, there was no shortage of commodities and no price hike. This was due to an abundant supply of commodities. Some enterprises were also proactive to launch a variety of year-end promotional programs, stimulating demand and promoting services.
