Nearly 1,200 needy children to attend 17th provincial mid-autumn festival

A plan to organize the 17th provincial mid-autumn festival for needy children has just been approved. Accordingly, nearly 1,200 needy children will attend the program. They will have a chance to play, learn about the glorious history of Vinh Loi war zone historical site, exchange with children at SOS Children’s Village, receive mid-autumn gifts and scholarships.

Under the program, 357 scholarships, bicycles, computers worth more than VND927million will be given for pupils with difficult circumstances. The organizers will also offer VND192million as long-term support to 16 needy children under the program of “Each kind heart makes a dream come true” together with around 1,190 mid-autumn gifts worth VND476million.
