Nearly 150 athletes attend traditional martial arts tournament

The traditional martial arts tournament of the provincial Sports Festival 2018 has just kicked off at TDM city’s Sporting Event Hall.

The tournament has absorbed nearly 150 athletes across the province. They will vie in 2 events: performance and combat for 14 sets of medals. There are 14 sets of medals in the combat event for men in the 45-75kg category and women in the 42kg-65kg category. Performances include Lao mai quyen, Lao ho thuong son, Doc lu thuong, Thai son con and Hung ke quyen.

The event was a chance for the local martial artists to share and exchange experience in competition while helping the province sort out outstanding individuals for the 8^th National Sports Festival.
