Nearly VND4billion spent on taking care of social policy beneficiaries on Tet

During the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2017, North Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee held delegations to visit, give gifts, saving books and provide free medical check-ups and medicine for 7,250 social policy beneficiaries with a total expense of approximately VND4billion.

The district also donated 12 charity houses and 3 “great unity” ones worth nearly VND2billion to the poor; teamed up with units to offer 667 scholarships, 2,891 gifts, 43 bicycles, 1 computer…to children with difficult circumstances with a total value of VND1.5billion.
