North Tan Uyen’s targets on socio-economic development reach and surpass yearly plan

North Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee, on November 18, held a session to review the local socio-economic performance, national defence-security in 2020 and define orientations, tasks for 2021.

Despite the impacts from Covid-19 pandemic, the district’s targets on socio-economic development reached and surpassed the year’s plan. Noticeably, the district’s agricultural production value was VND2.42billion, up 4.72%. The district’s industrial production value was more than VND4.25trillion, up 11.09% compared to the same period last year. The district also upgraded and built 17 “great unity”, charity, gratitude houses for needy people with a total expense of more than VND1billion…

In 2021, the district’s People’s Committee will continue well realizing policies on social welfare, taking good care of policy beneficiaries; strive to reduce the rate of poor households under the province’s poverty line to 20%...
