One new case of Covid-19 in isolated area reported

The HCM city Pasteur Institute has just reported another Covid-19 case in the isolated area of Bau Bang district’s Health Center in Binh Duong province. He is the patient 1523, born in 2008, in Dong Nai province’s Trang Bom district

He returned from Germany on Flight VN30 which landed in Tan Son Nhat airport on December together with 246 other cases and was isolated in Bau Bang district’s Health Center. On December 31, he tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus for the first time.

Earlier on this flight, 9 cases of Covid-19 were also reported from the HCM city Pasteur Institute. The patient 1523 is the F1 case of the patient 1472 that had been confirmed positive for the virus. He had close contact with the patient 1472. They sat on the same row with seat numbers 32B and 34B.
