Outstanding farmers for 2015-2020 honored

Early October 19, Ben Cat town’s Farmers ‘Association held a get-together to mark the 90^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers ‘Association (VFA) and honor outstanding collectives, individuals for the 2015-2020 period.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the development and history of the VFA during the 90 past years. Leader of the town’s Farmers ‘Association also reported the emulation movement of “good farmer in production and business” for the 2015-2020 period. Accordingly, the whole town had a total of 24,244 farmers registering the title of “good farmer” at all levels. As a result, there were 19,793 farmers winning the title of “good farmer” at all levels or 88% of total…

The town’s Farmers ‘Association and its branches also mobilized members to step by step make the shift of rural labor structure, forming up effective models with the annual income of hundreds of millions of dong. Through the emulation movement of “good farmer in production-business”, there were many farmers surmounting difficulties to rise up. Many large-scale models were been developed, generating jobs for rural laborers.

On this occasion, many outstanding collectives, individuals for the 2015-2020 period were honored.
