Over 200 people take part in humanitarian blood donation

On October 9, provincial Red Cross Society and its branch in TDM city coordinated with provincial Young Physicians’ Club, Medic Binh Duong Hospital and HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize a humanitarian blood donation program.

With the message of “A drop of blood saves a life”, the program absorbed more than 200 participants, including anti-fire soldiers, officials, staff of Medic Binh Duong hospital, pupils of provincial “Phat hoc” junior college and locals. As a result, the organizers collected 152 units of blood. The amount of blood will be checked and used to serve emergency aid, treatment at medical facilities in the coming time.
