Over VND6billion spent on new-style rural construction

Over the past five years, provincial Farmers ‘Association and its branches actively coordinated with sectors, mass organizations to launch the emulation movement of civilized urban and new-style rural construction via implementing the campaign of “All people consolidate to build civilized urban, new-style rural construction areas”.

Provincial Farmers ‘Association and its branches mobilized members to contribute more than VND6billion, 5,882 working days; build, upgrade 589 km of rural roads, 72 km of in-field canals; clear sluices; clean up streets; construct and upgrade 10 bridges; donate 36,831 square meters of land to the construction of public works…

They also actively propagandized and mobilized members, farmers to engage activities in environmental protection, set up 136 models on rural environmental protection.
