Phu Giao’s Farmers’Association mobilizes members to make hi-tech application in production

Phu Giao district’s Farmers ‘Association now has a total of more than 10,400 members

Over the past time, the association guided members how to develop collective economic models in line with the local real situation and received enthusiastic response from them. The district has so far set up 19 cooperatives with 187 members; 44 cooperative groups with 514 members; 2 clubs on animal husbandry with 39 members; 9 farmers ‘clubs with 291 members; 1 farm club with 30 members; 5 clubs on ornamental creature with 94 members…

The association also coordinated with enterprises and relevant agencies to organize seminars, conferences on linkage from production to consumption, sci-tech transfer; open classes on vocational training; hold trips to effective models; apply sci-tech advancements into production in association with processing and consumption for products at home and abroad.

Especially, the association supported farmers to get access to preferential loans for hi-tech agricultural development. The district’s hi-tech agricultural models over the past time contributed to the comprehensive development of the local agricultural sector.
