Poor people under free medical check-up

Early March 11, Hoa Sen charity club in collaboration with provincial Red Cross Society and Binh Duong Medic General Hospital held a delegation to visit and provide free medical check-ups, medicine and donate 100 gifts worth VND250,000 each, comprising of rice, instant noodle, seasoning powder, soya sauce, to the poor in Binh Tan district’s Thanh Dong commune in the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long.

It is known that the charity trip has a total expense of VND30million, funded by Hoa Sen charity club and Binh Duong Medic General Hospital.

*The same day, the Youth Union and Trade Union of Thuan An town’s Court gave away 5 gifts worth VND800,000 each for needy households in Tuy Hoa city’s Phu Dong ward in Phu Yen province.

In the visiting places, the delegation encouraged the local poor households to rise up out of poverty towards a brighter future.

The Trade Union of the town’s Court also organized a “return to the roots” program at Nui Nhan historical relic site in the south central province.
