The province in the first half of 2020 absorbed US$557million in FDI attraction, down 43.7% compared to the same period last year.
Particularly, there were 59 newly-established businesses, down 44.3% in number and up 49.4% in capital compared to the same period last year and 57 extra-ones with US$243.9million.
Among 17 countries, territories with new investment in the province during the period, Hongkong (China) ranked first with total registered capital of US$83.9million. It was followed by Singapore with US$61.4million, China with US$50.2million…So far, the whole province has had a total of 59 FDI projects capitalized at US$853.3million. The province’s manufacturing and processing industries continued leading FDI attraction with 43 newly-registered projects, 54 extra-ones with US$476million while services lured 4 newly-registered projects with US$39.6million.
