Province absorbs over US$680million in FDI capital

According to a report by provincial Statistics Bureau, the province absorbed additional US$124.9million in FDI capital from July 1 to 15. Of these, US$113.1million came from 20 newly-registered FDI projects and US$11.8million from 7 extra-ones.

Since early this year, the whole province attracted US$681.9million in FDI capital, down 40.4% compared to the same period last year. Particularly, there were 89 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of US$426million, down 37.9% against the same period last year and 64 extra-ones with US$255.7million, down 44.2% compared to the same period last year.
