Province basically completes support for lottery ticket sellers

On the morning of August 3, many localities in the province urgently completed financial support for lottery ticket sellers and freelancers without labor contracts under the Government’s Resolution No. 68.

According to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, up to now, the number of laborers  without labor deals supported has been 20,722 with nearly VND 32 billion disbursed, or 51.3 % of the plan. Particularly, the province has basically finished support for the local lottery ticket sellers.

More than 1 million employees working at 14,359 businesses in the province have received a reduction in their insurance premiums for  occupational accidents and diseases, worth more than VND393billion from July 1, 2021 to January 30, 2022.  

As noted by reporters, providing support for the above targeted people was organized carefully in accordance with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control of the epidemic after communes, wards rechecked the list and then sent it to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities for approval.

*As of August 1, Ben Cat town spent more than VND 1.3 billion on supporting 871 needy people, including 491 lottery ticket sellers and 380 freelancers, with the average level of VND1.5 million per person. Of the total figure,  the subsidy for lottery ticket sellers was paid by Binh Duong Lottery One Member Co.Ltd.
