Province is home to 94 cooperatives

The whole province now has a total of 94 cooperatives mainly operating in the fields of agriculture, home industry, trade-services, transportation…with a total chartered capital of more than VND586billion. On average, each cooperative reaches the annual revenue of around VND12.5billion while each member’s income is VND60million a year.

Currently, there are also 10 people’s credit funds with stable operation. They have so far worked under the Cooperative Law 2012.

In a bid to help the local cooperatives get better development in the coming time, the province has suggested the central administration to concretize support policies for cooperatives in terms of tax, credit…while allowing the province to issue preferential policies for the collective economic sector in line with the local economic development features.
