Province marks 67th anniversary of Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force
Early July 14, provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers’ Association in collaboration with its branch in Dau Tieng district held a ceremony to mark the 67th anniversary of Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950-July 15, 2017) at a memorial temple of youth volunteers in Thanh An commune.
At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the development and history of Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force during the past 67 years. Reportedly, provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers’ Association and its branches were very exemplary in the local campaigns; excelled at “studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”; boosted a movement of “members helping each other in economic development; coordinated with relevant agencies to deal with policies for youth volunteers…
On this occasion, provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers’ Association offered 100 gifts to ex-youth volunteers in Dau Tieng district with a total value of VND20million; awarded 30 scholarships worth VND15million to poor pupils at Thanh An primary school; coordinated with Medic Binh Duong Hospital to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for 200 households in the district.
