Province surpasses target in number of enterprises registering for operation

The whole province absorbed more than 3,360 newly-established enterprises with total registered capital of more than VND20.4trillion over the past seven months, down 4.9% in number and 11.2% in capital compared to the same period last year, according to provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

Also during the period, the amount of capital increased by enterprises was more than VND15.4trillion. The whole province has so far attracted 45,836 enterprises with total registered capital of more than VND414.89trillion.

It is known that the province has set a target of attracting 35,000-40,000 enterprises with total registered capital of VND248trillion in the 2016-2020 period. Thus, with the above result, the province has surpassed the set target in investment attraction.
