Province welcomes over 4.2million tourists

Over the past nine months, the province welcomed 4.25 million tourists (including 284,000 international tourists and more than 3.9million domestic ones), up 1.2% compared to the same period last year. The sector’s total revenue was estimated at VND1.26trillion, up 5% against the same period last year.

Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also coordinated with HCM city’s Development and Research Institute to map out a draft plan on the implementation of provincial Project on tourism development to 2025, orientation to 2030…In addition, provincial Tourism Promotion Center took part in tourism events nationwide, thereby promoting the local tourism; realized a plan on the local tourism popularization via Zalo and build a smart phone app on the local tourism for the period of 2019-2021.
