Provincial Customs Department improves transparency

Strictly following the motto of "Professional - transparent - effective", in the first quarter of 2021, provincial Customs Department effectively maintained the VNACCS/VCIS automatic declaration system and satellite programs, facilitating businesses’ customs declaration. Deploying the VASSCM automatic customs management system also helped the sector enjoy advantages in managing and monitoring the process of transporting goods from the place of registration of declaration to the border gate. The sector’s effective application of the national one-door mechanism, the ASEAN single-window mechanism, significantly shortened the time of customs clearance and reduced costs for import-export enterprises.

The number of dossiers submitted through provincial  Customs Department’s e-portal ranked second in the whole sector with 27,655 dossiers in 2020, bringing practical benefits, reducing contact between businesses with customs officers, improving publicity and transparency.
