Provincial DoET to organize sports festival for pupils

Further implementing the campaign of “All people take physical exercises following the example of great Uncle Ho”, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) will kick off a sports festival for pupils in the 2018-2019 academic year in December ahead.

The sports festival is for primary, secondary and high-school pupils across the province with 10 events: athletics, swimming, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, chess, table tennis and shuttlecock kicking.

It aims to assess sports activities at province-based schools while seeking outstanding individuals to train and supplement them to the local sports teams.
