Provincial Election Committee approves working regulations, establishes sub-committees 

*Receiving personal papers of candidates for the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure

Early February 24, provincial Election Committee held a meeting to report preparations for the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure.

The meeting was attended by Vo Van Minh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council, Chairman of provincial Election Committee; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of sectors, departments, districts, towns and cities in the province.

Reportedly, the whole province is expected to have 4 units for the election of deputies to the National Assembly, 18 units for the election of deputies to provincial People’s Council with a total of 2,599,253 people, including 1,118,057 with permanent residence and 1,481,196 with temporary residence. The meeting approved assignment of tasks to members of provincial Election Committee; ratified working regulations of provincial Election Committee and decisions of establishment of sub-committees for personnel; the settlement of complaints and denunciations; legal documents and communications; security, social order, and safety.…

Mr.Minh stressed that sectors, localities need to well realize advisory work in the coming time, especially in the division of vote areas, the establishment of steering committees at election units…

*Provincial Election Committee has just issued the Announcement No.04/TB-UBBC dated February 19, 2021 on receiving personal papers of candidates to the elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and provincial People’s Council for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Accordingly, the time for receiving personal papers of candidates for the elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and provincial People’s Council for the 2021-2026 tenure will begin from 8am on February 22 to 17pm on March 14, 2021  at provincial Department of Home Affairs’s “one-door” section, Tower A, provincial Integrated Administration Center.
