Provincial People’s Council supervises realization of social welfare polices in some localities

Under the Resolution No.20 of provincial People’s Council, three supervision groups of provincial People’s Council, on February 21, worked with the People’s Committees of Di An city, Dau Tieng and North Tan Uyen districts about the implementation of policies on social welfare for the 2016-2020 period.

Through the above working session, these supervision groups required the localities to obviously explain some contents, including the instruction of authorities at all levels for social welfare policies between 2016-2020; the results of implementation of social welfare policies and shortcomings from them; the mobilization of social resources in realizing social welfare policies and urban social services; coordination from authorities, sectors and localities in realizing social welfare policies…

They also acknowledged suggestions by the localities and will transfer them to functional agencies for consideration and solution.
