Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations continues effectively realizing programs on cooperation, solidarity, friendship

On the afternoon of January 7, provincial Union of Friendship Organizations forwarded a conference to review its activities in 2019 and define orientations, tasks for 2020.

The Union last year boosted solidarity and friendship activities; welcomed 20 delegations through the channels of peace, friendship, people’s cooperation and 17 foreign delegations; organized a get-together for overseas Vietnamese, marked the 40th anniversary of Southwest border defence war victory, held cultural festivals, exchanges and charity activities with more than VND3billion. The Union now has a total of 7 member organizations. In 2019, they also organized many prastical activities on solidarity, friendship and charity.

In 2020, the Union will further strengthen, expand foreign affairs; promote friendship exchanges; coordinate with relevant organizations to implement international events hosted by the province; successfully organize its 2nd congress...
