Que Huong charity center marks 18th anniversary

Que Huong charity center, on December 8, held a ceremony to mark its 18th anniversary (December 10, 2001-December 10, 2019), in attendance of Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice-Chairwoman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front.

After 12 years of establishment, the center has so far had a spacious facility for 345 orphan and disabled children. The center has also built a kindergarten and a primary school for children herein and some with difficult circumstances in the neighboring areas. In addition, the center over the past years offered 81,500 gifts, 2,976 scholarships, 19,145 wheelchairs, 1,040 bicycles…to disadvantaged people.

On this occasion, the center donated 2,000 gifts, 50 scholarships to the local poor people and children. The Vietnam Records Organization granted a record certificate to the center in recognition of its mass wedding for 100 couples with disabilities in Vietnam.
