Rapid response squad to support Covid-19 prevention and control set up

On June 4, Di An city’s Youth Union Standing Committee recruited volunteers for its rapid response teams to support the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

The rapid response squads will directly engage activities in isolation and blockade areas, showing the voluntary spirit of the local youths in Covid-19 prevention and control under the spirit of "fighting the pandemic is like fighting the enemy"  amid the complicated development of the pandemic.

Lam Hoang Thuy Trang, Secretary of Di An city’s Youth Union said: "The city’s Youth Union has called for support resources from Youth Union branches, officials, members, teenagers and children throughout the city while mobilizing individuals, organizations, businesses, donors and the community to join hands with the local youths to participate in supporting the fight against the pandemic”.

Accordingly, the Youth Union branches of the wards that have blockade areas will organize youth volunteer squads with support activities against the pandemic for people; further propagandize and mobilize people to well implement the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health.
